Community members are invited to attend a Mental Health Town Hall hosted by Indian Rivers Behavioral Health in partnership with the City of Aliceville later this month.
The event is scheduled for May 28, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium. Organizers say the town hall is designed to bring residents together for conversations surrounding mental health awareness, support services, and community healing.
According to the event flyer, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions focused on hope, help, and healing while learning more about mental health resources available in the area.
To encourage community participation, organizers will also provide free BBQ dinner plates during the event. Several raffle-style door prizes will be given away throughout the evening, including a 50-inch television.
Representatives from Indian Rivers Behavioral Health say the event aims to create a welcoming environment where individuals and families can openly discuss mental health challenges and discover local support options.
The town hall is open to the public.
