As summer approaches, the City of Livingston is now hiring lifeguards to staff the pool at Jaycee Park, offering a seasonal opportunity for local residents—especially teens and young adults—to gain work experience while serving the community.
Positions are available at Jaycee Park, located at 401 Hopkins Street, with scheduled workdays running Thursday through Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
City officials say one of the key benefits of the position is that certification costs are covered, making it easier for first-time applicants to get started without upfront expenses.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old to be considered. The role is ideal for individuals who are responsible, attentive, and interested in helping ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers during the summer months.
Those interested in applying or learning more are encouraged to contact Livingston City Hall directly at 205-652-2505.
With pool season right around the corner, the city is looking to fill positions soon to ensure the facility is fully staffed and ready to welcome the public.
