The community is invited to come together for a day of awareness, support, and family-friendly fun at the 2026 Autism Walk & Child Abuse Awareness Family Fun Day, set for Saturday, April 25, at the Aliceville Armory.
The event, organized under the theme “Blue Away Autism and Child Abuse,” will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a welcoming and inclusive space for families, advocates, and community members.
One of the highlights of the day will be the Autism Walk and balloon release at 10:30 a.m., symbolizing unity and support for individuals and families affected by autism and child abuse.
Attendees can expect a variety of activities designed for all ages, including:

Organizers emphasize that the event is designed to be both fun and meaningful, bringing attention to important issues while creating a safe and engaging environment for families.
“Join us for a fun, inclusive, and interactive walk to celebrate diversity and raise awareness for autism,” the event announcement reads. “Show your support to families and friends living with ASD or impacted by child abuse.”
Food and entertainment will also be available, making it a full day of community connection and engagement.
