Community members are invited to support local mental health initiatives at an upcoming Community Nights fundraiser benefiting the Tuscaloosa Mental Health Alliance (TMHA).
The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Lookout at Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown. Organizers say the evening will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the alliance’s mission and the mental health services it supports throughout the Tuscaloosa area.
As part of the Community Nights program, 10 percent of bar sales during the event will be donated to TMHA, helping the organization continue its work addressing the mental health needs of local individuals and families.
In a message to the community, TMHA encouraged residents to attend and bring friends, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in promoting mental health awareness and support.
“We invite you to join us in our ongoing commitment to addressing the mental health needs of our community,” the organization said.
The Community Nights series is designed to spotlight local nonprofit organizations while raising awareness and financial support for their causes. Organizers hope the event will foster greater understanding of mental health challenges and strengthen community partnerships dedicated to improving well-being in Tuscaloosa.
Admission information was not included in the announcement. Community members interested in supporting TMHA are encouraged to attend and participate in the fundraiser on July 12.
