Stillman College alumni and supporters will have several opportunities to reconnect in Tuscaloosa this November as GTTY presents SC150 Alumni Weekend, a four-day lineup of social events, food, music and football.
The weekend is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 15, with activities taking place at venues throughout Tuscaloosa.
Festivities begin Thursday at 8 p.m. with Tacos, Tequila & Karaoke at Santos Tacos Eats Bar, located at 1014 7th Avenue. The event will feature music from DJ Tank Sinatra.
On Friday, alumni can gather for the GTTY Alumni Day Party beginning at 1 p.m. at Twelve25, 1225 University Boulevard. BigDawg Dreday will provide music for the afternoon event.
Saturday’s activities shift to Stillman Stadium for the SC150 Flag Football Game. Activities begin at 11 a.m., with kickoff scheduled for noon. The stadium is located at 3601 Stillman Boulevard.
The weekend concludes Sunday with “Brunch Made Me Do It,” an R&B brunch beginning at noon at Spades Restaurant & Lounge, 1735 Culver Road. The event is set to include food, mimosas and music.
The four-day celebration gives Stillman alumni a chance to return to Tuscaloosa, reconnect with classmates and friends, and celebrate the community surrounding the historic college.
