Tuscaloosa is getting another major hip-hop concert this fall as rapper Fetty Wap prepares to take the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.
Fetty Wap will perform Friday, November 27, with the Ying Yang Twins and Two Creeks also appearing on the lineup, according to a concert announcement from the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater.
Fetty Wap became one of hip-hop’s biggest breakout artists in 2015 with his hit single “Trap Queen.” His self-titled debut album also produced popular songs including “679” and “My Way.”
The addition of the Ying Yang Twins brings another familiar name in Southern hip-hop to the Tuscaloosa show. The Atlanta duo rose to prominence during the 2000s and became known for hits including “Salt Shaker,” “Wait (The Whisper Song)” and “Badd.”
The concert will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, located along Jack Warner Parkway.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater box office.
The November concert adds another entertainment option to Tuscaloosa’s fall calendar and gives West Alabama hip-hop fans a chance to see several recognizable acts on one stage.
