J&A Inc. has launched a hiring campaign for a Site Manager to oversee affordable housing operations at two apartment communities in Gordo and Aliceville, Alabama, as the company seeks an experienced professional to manage daily property operations and resident services.
In a message shared with community partners, the company announced it is “looking for a site manager in the area to take over two properties in Gordo and Aliceville” and encouraged interested applicants to apply through its online job posting.
The full-time position focuses on managing affordable housing communities while ensuring compliance with federal and state housing regulations, including HUD, USDA Rural Development (RD), and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program requirements. The successful candidate will oversee leasing operations, tenant relations, rent collections, maintenance coordination, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
According to the job description, the Site Manager will be responsible for marketing vacant units, screening applicants, processing leases and income certifications, conducting move-in and move-out inspections, supervising maintenance activities, coordinating vendors, maintaining accurate property records, and communicating regularly with regional management.
J&A Inc. is seeking candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in LIHTC property management, proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi or RealPage, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with Section 8, HUD, Rural Development, and Tax Credit housing programs is considered an asset.
The company noted that the position may require the manager to live on-site, depending on operational needs, with an employer-provided apartment available if required.
