The Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its Annual Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Foxwood, 695 County Road 38, Gordo, Alabama.
The event will bring together community members, business leaders, and local officials for an evening dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of individuals and businesses that help drive the community forward.
A highlight of the banquet will be the recognition of milestone business owners, as well as the presentation of the Citizen of the Year and Pioneer of the Year awards. Chamber officials say the event is designed to honor those whose dedication and service have made a lasting impact on Gordo and the surrounding area.
Tickets are available for $25 per person and will be on sale through July 11 at BankFirst and Alabama One locations in Gordo.
The annual banquet serves as one of the Chamber’s signature events, providing an opportunity for residents to celebrate local achievements, strengthen community connections, and recognize the people and businesses that contribute to the town’s success.
The Chamber encourages residents to attend and join in celebrating what organizers describe as “the heart of Gordo.”
