The Gordo Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting community members, business leaders, and local supporters to attend its Annual Banquet on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Foxwood, located at 695 County Road 38 in Gordo.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will serve as an evening of celebration, community fellowship, and recognition of individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the area.
A highlight of the banquet will be the recognition of milestone business owners, as well as the presentation of the Chamber’s prestigious Citizen of the Year and Pioneer of the Year awards. Organizers say the event is designed to honor those whose dedication and service have helped strengthen the Gordo community.
Tickets are available for $25 each and may be purchased through July 11 at BankFirst and Alabama One in Gordo.
The annual gathering is one of the Chamber’s signature events, bringing together residents, business owners, civic leaders, and community partners to celebrate the accomplishments and growth of the town while looking ahead to future opportunities.
“This banquet is an opportunity to recognize the people and businesses that make Gordo a special place to live and work,” organizers noted in the event announcement.
Community members are encouraged to attend and join in celebrating “the heart of Gordo.”
