The countdown is on for the UWA Youth Summer Soccer Camp, which returns to the University of West Alabama Soccer Complex from June 29 through July 1, 2026, offering young athletes an exciting opportunity to develop their skills, make new friends, and experience the game in a fun and encouraging environment.
Hosted by West Alabama Soccer Camps, the three-day camp is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 9 (Fall 2026) and welcomes players of all skill levels. Participants will receive instruction focused on soccer fundamentals, skill development, and game play while enjoying a positive atmosphere centered on learning and teamwork.
Camp organizers say the event is designed not only to improve soccer skills but also to help young players build confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love for the sport.
“Last year’s camp was one of the highlights of our summer as we brought soccer to the community,” organizers said. “With the 2026 FIFA World Cup being hosted in North America, there has never been a better time for young athletes to get involved in soccer.”
In addition to on-field training and activities, every camper will receive a free UWA Soccer Camp T-shirt as part of their registration.
The camp fee is $111 per participant, and organizers encourage families to register soon as the event is now less than two weeks away.
