Residents of Sumter County will have an opportunity to receive assistance with federal agencies when staff members from the office of U.S. Rep. Terri A. Sewell host Mobile Office Hours in York on Wednesday, June 17.
The outreach event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Room at York City Hall, located at 583 4th Avenue, York, Alabama 36925.
According to Rep. Sewell’s office, the event is designed to bring congressional services directly into local communities, allowing residents to meet with staff and seek help navigating issues involving federal agencies. Assistance may include casework support, questions regarding federal benefits, and other constituent service needs.
Rep. Sewell will not be present during the event; however, members of her congressional staff will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on a variety of federal matters.
The Mobile Office Hours program is part of the congresswoman’s ongoing effort to make constituent services more accessible throughout Alabama’s 7th Congressional District.
For additional information, residents can visit the congresswoman’s official website or contact her office at (334) 877-4414.
