West Alabama professionals interested in strengthening their leadership skills and community involvement still have time to apply for the 2026–2027 class of Leadership Tuscaloosa.
The program, which spans nine months, is designed to help emerging and established leaders build connections while learning more about the people, organizations, and issues that shape the Tuscaloosa area and the greater West Alabama region.
According to organizers, the program focuses on leadership development, civic engagement, and networking opportunities that encourage participants to become more active in their communities and workplaces.
Since its launch, Leadership Tuscaloosa has produced more than 1,300 alumni who continue serving in leadership roles across West Alabama in business, education, government, nonprofit organizations, and community initiatives.
Applications for the upcoming class are currently being accepted, with a submission deadline of Friday, June 5, 2026, at 4 p.m. CST.
