Residents in Pickens County who need help navigating federal agencies will soon have an opportunity to get in-person assistance during upcoming mobile office hours hosted by the office of Terri Sewell.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Aliceville Senior Activity Center, located at 416 3rd Avenue NE in Aliceville.
According to organizers, the mobile office hours are designed to help individuals who may be experiencing issues or delays with federal agencies. Staff members from Sewell’s office will be on-site to assist with a variety of concerns, including questions related to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Social Security Administration, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Residents are encouraged to bring any relevant documents, case numbers, or paperwork to help staff better understand and address their concerns.
While Congresswoman Sewell will not be present, representatives from her office will be available to provide direct support and guidance.
Mobile office hours are part of an ongoing effort to connect constituents with federal resources and ensure that community members have access to assistance without needing to travel far from home.
Community members with unresolved federal issues are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
