A local restaurant is turning everyday meals into meaningful impact this week, as Jason’s Deli partners with The Arc of Tuscaloosa County for a community fundraising event.
The “Honest to Goodness Fundraising” event is set for Thursday, April 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Jason’s Deli location at 2300 McFarland Boulevard East in Tuscaloosa.
During that time, customers can support The Arc simply by dining in or ordering online. A portion of proceeds will go directly toward the organization’s efforts when guests use the code FUND20 at checkout.
The Arc of Tuscaloosa County is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through advocacy, programs, and community-based services, the organization works to help individuals live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Events like this fundraiser play a key role in helping sustain those services while also giving the public a simple way to get involved.
Jason’s Deli, known for its community partnerships and fresh, made-to-order menu options, regularly hosts fundraising nights to support local causes. This latest effort continues that tradition by spotlighting an organization that serves families across Tuscaloosa County.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, grab a meal, and contribute to a cause that directly benefits local residents.
For those unable to attend in person, online orders placed during the event window using the fundraiser code will still count toward the total donation.
