Community members are invited to come together in support of those affected by multiple sclerosis during the 4th Annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk Aliceville, scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will take place at the Aliceville Army National Guard, located at 539 Memorial Parkway N.W., and aims to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis while honoring individuals and families impacted by the disease.
Organizers say this year’s walk will also include a special memorial honoring the late MS warrior, Mr. Tavares Hill, recognizing his life and the impact he made within the community.
Following the walk, attendees are invited to participate in a Lunch & Learn session focused on grief, led by licensed mental health therapist Ms. Gwendolyn Miniard, MS, CAMS-I, ALC. The session will provide valuable insight and support for individuals coping with loss and emotional challenges.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, show support, and take part in this meaningful event that blends awareness, remembrance, and education.
