Margarita lovers across West Alabama will have something to toast to this spring as the Tuscaloosa Margarita Festival returns on Saturday, April 11, bringing a full day of flavor, music, and community fun to the area.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Venue in Northport, where attendees will gather to sample a wide variety of margaritas crafted by local bars and restaurants.
Hosted by the International Margarita Organization, the festival features a friendly competition where guests play a key role. Each ticket includes ten 3.5-ounce margarita samples, allowing attendees to taste different styles—from classic recipes to bold and creative blends—and vote for their favorite.
At the end of the day, the top-voted establishment will take home a $1,000 prize along with bragging rights for having the best margarita in Tuscaloosa.
Beyond the tasting experience, the festival offers a full entertainment lineup, including live music or a DJ, food vendors, and a beer garden. Guests can also enter for a chance to win a trip to Mexico, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Organizers expect thousands of attendees to participate in what has become a growing regional attraction, celebrating both local businesses and community engagement.
In addition to the fun, the festival also serves a meaningful purpose. A portion of proceeds will benefit children’s charities, allowing attendees to support a good cause while enjoying the festivities.
Tickets are available in general admission and VIP options, with entry priced around $23. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and come ready to sip, sample, and vote.
With great drinks, live entertainment, and a community-centered mission, the Tuscaloosa Margarita Festival promises to deliver one of the most flavorful events of the season.
