University Charter School will partner with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, offering residents an opportunity to give back while helping save lives.
The blood drive will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Art Classroom at University Charter School, located at 134 University Drive in Livingston, Alabama. Organizers are encouraging students, faculty, parents, and community members to participate, noting that even one donation can make a life-saving difference for patients in need.
As an added incentive, all donors will receive a $20 e-gift card as a thank-you for their contribution. The Red Cross continues to emphasize the importance of maintaining a stable blood supply, especially during the winter months when donations often decline but medical needs remain high.
Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled by visiting RedCrossBlood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Walk-ins may also be accepted as space and time allow.
Community members with questions or seeking additional details may contact Nurse Jenny at jhughey@universitycharterschool.org. Organizers hope for a strong turnout to support this vital cause and remind everyone that a single donation can help save multiple lives.
